This patient had a tooth with a failing root canal. This tooth needed to be extracted, and was replaced using a dental implant. The infected tooth was removed and a bone graft was placed. After healing for about 14 weeks and implant was placed. The patient was allowed to heal to allow the implant to integrate. A porcelain crown was placed over the implant. At Martin Dentistry in Indianapolis and Fishers implants can be placed to restore function and replace teeth.

Dental Implant

This patient had a failing root canal treated tooth that needed to be extracted.  The patient had this tooth replaced using a dental implant.  The area healed for approx. 3-4 months while the patient wore a cover screw to protect area.  The implant was then restored with an implant crown and patient had returned function in the area.
