Some baby teeth can be retained indefinately, but once they start to fail replacemnt options need to be considered. The patient in this case opted for an implant over a bridge. The baby tooth was removed and allowed to heal for 4 weeks. A single implant was placed in the site and allowed to healing for 14 weeks before an impression was taken for the crown. The crown is porcelain, but appears white in the xrays. The patient can now function normally. All work was completed at Martin Dentistry for this implant and crown.
