Procedure Details

Several concerns were addressed with placing crowns. The patient did not like to position or shape of her teeth and she knew she had cavities (decay). There was staining and discoloration as well that was a concern. All porcelain crowns were chosen so there would be no dark lines around the gums. The spaces were closed, decay was removed and a better smile was achieved.

Treatment with crowns

The patient was concerned not only with her changing appearnace, but with the health of her teeth. Shifting over time was noticed. A complete exam was done and the healtho f the surrounding gum and bone was addressed. With porcelain crowns an esthically pleasing result was possible while replacing old fillings and decay. A conservative smile makeover was achieved and the patient was happy with a natural looking smile that restored how her teeth used to look.
