This patient was born without a permanent tooth to replace the baby tooth. Over time the roots resorbed and the tooth was loose. A single tooth implant was used to replace the baby tooth.

From baby tooth to implant

This patient opted for an implant versus a bridge to replace the failed baby tooth.  The teeth on either side of the space were in perfect condition so crowning them to make a bridge was not a good option.  After a simple removal of the tooth and 4 weeks healing an implnat was placed.  An all porcelain crown completes the treatment.
