I came here after not having dental care for 5-6 years. My hygentist, Ashley was absolute amazing! I was nervous and embarrassed; she took time to explain everything before she did it, was gentle, and talked me through everything. She could tell I was tense, and even got me a squeeze squish ball to help me through my procedure. Dr. Marshall is comforting, easy going and makes everything so easy. Dr. Lindsey was fantastic--she helped make a great plan to fill all my cavities and get my teeth healthy again. I had horrible gumline cavities on my two front teeth that embarrassed me to no end, Dr. Lindsey fixed them right up and I can’t believe how much more confident I am in my smile. She is super kind, great bedside manner, and very gentle. All the hygienists are also great and make you as comfortable as possible. Overall amazing care and very very clean. More

Martin Dentistry nails the line between a friendly, almost-familial atmosphere and efficient professionalism. The staff are all pleasant to work with and visits always run on time. I’ve never felt like I was getting nagged about flossing (even though I probably need to more often). The rooms are themed and fun, bringing just a little more joy to what would usually be a fairly unpleasant visit. It’s hard to wax poetic about a dentist office, but this place is as good as it gets. I have been here twice now and had excellent experiences both times. The new patient process is pretty quick and painless.  They were able to get me in within two weeks for a routine cleaning and x-rays.  The cleaning was good. I mentioned that I tend to gag with dental stuff, so they took extra care when placing the films for my x-rays and the tech kept checking on me and going super slow to ensure my comfort. I had a filling that had mostly fallen out. I was able to reschedule a follow up for two days later (they had them sooner, but it didn’t work for my schedule).  I asked if I would have to be numbed because I hate the dental shots.  She said she was pretty confident she could pop out the old filling and replace it with no to minimal pain and she was right.  My tooth hurt the tiniest bit, but I’m pretty sure it was just sensitivity when the cold water blasted it. I was in and out in about 20 minutes with my new filling and no numb, drooly mouth. They also accept children. My friend’s entire family goes and say the dentists are really good with their kids as well.  I don’t doubt it. Each room is themed. My cleaning was in the Star Wars room and my filling was in the baseball room.  There is plenty for kids (or kids at heart) to look at and be distracted by during dental procedures. More

Such a nice office! I love the new building - everything is clean and beautiful, and it's in a great convenient location. My dental hygienist Becki is AWESOME! She is so sweet and remembers things that we discuss about my family and work, even though she only sees me every 6 months. She has an absolutely wonderful bedside manner, which helps calm me down (I know dentist visits can be stressful for a lot of people!). Also, even though I'm in my 30s, I feel like she is the first person to actually take time to show me HOW to appropriately floss, and my teeth/gums have gotten healthier over the years of seeing her! The doctors explain exactly what they are doing, what they are seeing, and what their recommendations are. I am always seen within just a few minutes of arriving for my appointment. This Dentist is awesome. Dr. Stephanie, office manager Carey, the new assistant from Texas, and entire staff made all my visits a pleasure. Carey is a pro at making temporary crowns and Dr. Stephanie does a great job with the permanent crowns. If you have any fear about pain don't worry they are wonderful at making sure you have minimal to none. I would trust any thing say they are going to do. Everyone here is always happy with smiles on their faces. I could go on and on about more great things but I'll end it hear. If your in need of a great Dentist this is the place to be. More

The doctors have always been friendly and seemingly thorough. More so than prior dentists I have used. The facility is nice but objectively the least important part. Yesterday I had an emergency and they worked me in and took care of the issue right away. Dr. Matt Martin was professional and explained everything in detail. The staff is wonderful, experienced and positive. All the dentists that have seen me have been concerned and knowledgeable. She addressed my concerns and made sure that all of my questions were answered.The panoramic x-ray room had some pretty sweet toys/prizes displayed, but I guess there's an age limit on them because I wasn't offered one! LolI will say that when my appointment was scheduled I was told what I could expect to pay for my initial exam and x-rays and that estimate/quote was much lower than what I was actually billed. If you aren't sure what the cost will be, it's better to provide a range or no pricing at all. More

A great dentist for the people who live & work in Broad Ripple. The staff is super friendly, and always helpful. I feel comfortable enough during covid to continue to get my regular cleanings as the place is super clean (and was before!)Scheduling and rescheduling if needed has always been very easy. My name is Ryan and I have been a patient for over 10yrs plus. It all started with a pain in one of my wisdom teeth. Since I was new to the area at the time having lived in another state, I needed a dentist. Checking with a co-worker I asked her where she went and Martin Dentistry is what she told me. They have a personal experience unlike no other. They treat you like a member of their family instead of just a regular customer. Dr. Stephanie Martin is a real accomplished dentist who is not only highly educated and skilled, but also very practical as it relates to treatment options.  For my 88 yo mother, a new patient, she repaired what we came in for the same day, and scheduled an upcoming visit to repair two teeth newly diagnosed needing restorations.  She then put another tooth on "watch" to avoid additional expenses for an 88yo.  I felt that so very appropriate considering that tooth may never cause a problem during her lifetime.  Very classy...very ethical!!  The other two restorations went smoothly as expected, and my mother was quite happy.  Next, my son needed a few extractions of his primary teeth to allow for the permanent teeth to erupt as they should.  Jack, albeit a bit nervous of the unknown, did just great under the care and expertise of Dr. Stephanie Martin.  He is 13yo, and under her care and finesse, was able to have his teeth removed with only local anesthetic.  One of the teeth had quite a long root (one generally taken care of by an oral surgeon), however; Dr. Stephanie patiently and effectively removed that tooth without any complications. So nice to avoid a trip to the oral surgeon and so nice to have an amazing dentist taking care of our families dental care.  We would highly recommended Dr. Martin and other providers in that practice! Had my first experience with Martin dentistry today, and am so pleased! Great atmosphere, super friendly front desk staff, and almost no wait time! In the past with my other dentist office I always had to wait way beyond my appointment time! Maddie, the gal that did my cleaning, was so pleasant! Sweet as can be and did a great job. Once the doc came in and reviewed everything, he answered any questions I had and explained everything thoroughly to me. I just got back from my routine dental cleaning and I'm as pleased as punch! My husband and I are both new-ish to Indy and I chose this dentist for us both because of the wonderful reviews here on Yelp! Not to mention, it's right in our Broad Ripple neighborhood. You feel at ease and comfortable right from the start. They have a nice lobby with modern decor, everything is clean yet inviting. The women who work at the desk greet you immediately, the wait is not long and all the hygienists, technicians and the dentists are just superb. The hygienist even laughed at my lame jokes! The final stage of the visit when you speak to the dentist was also just great. In the past, with other dentists, it always seemed to me the dentist was rushing through. I didn't feel this way at all at Martin Dentistry. She was completely calm, friendly and answered all my questions graciously. I know all insurance works differently, but for me, they take care of all the paperwork and such. No pay now and get reimbursed from the insurance company later. That's a huge relief for as I tend to be a paperwork procrastinator. Wonderful team! When our son is ready, this is where we'll take him, too! More
